Liz & Julian moved into their beautiful Arts & Craft house in Leicester in 2018 and immediately set about adding more character in keeping with such a period property.
Built in 1925, the house had only been in the ownership of 2 families before coming into Liz & Julian's hands. With a young family, it required some work to meet the demands of 21st century living. After opening up the lower living areas, they took a new broom approach to the upper floors.
'The size and height of the main rooms you find in this style of period property allowed us to re purpose some of the smaller rooms without losing any feeling of space.' said Liz.
'Top on my list was adding to the bathrooms, whilst keeping that turn of the century look.'
Liz contacted The Branded Tile Company about potential tiles suitable for such a build, 'the team at The Branded Tile Company couldn't have been more helpful. After explaining our plans they found the perfect tile. The V&A Peacock Puddle Glaze tile is just beautiful, it has such a deep rich colour and makes our en-suite really stand out.'
